A visit to Kőkapu cannot be complete without visiting the surroundings. There are many trips to choose from: either hiking in the nearby forests or fishing in the lake. Further information is available at the hotel reception.

Fishing and boating

The picturesque lake by the hunting lodge is a great place for active tourists. For a romantic boating, please ask the reception to rent a boat, also we can give you advices for an early morning fishing.

Bike rental

A fun way to discover the area is to rent a bike, which is available at the reception. The isolated location guarantees a safe, undisturbed trip, where there is no need to be afraid of any cars.

Train

A great programme for families with children is a train ride in the forest. Originally built as a horse train, carrying wood between the forest and the sawmill, this little train now works with a diesel engine, providing romantic transfer for our visitors.
